Old Baldy, the 1817 lighthouse on Bald Head Island at the mouth of the Cape Fear River, above the maritime forest

Based in Wilmington, NC

A website for your business. And someone to keep it current.

We build you a fast, good-looking site — then you email us whenever something changes. New hours, new prices, a new photo. You send a note; we handle the rest.

What you get

A site, and the part everyone forgets

Most sites are built once and then slowly go stale. This is built well and kept accurate — the second part is the whole point.

  • Built for your business

A clean, modern site designed around what your customers actually need: what you do, where you are, and how to reach you. No templates that look like everyone else's.

  • Fast on a phone

Most of your visitors are on a phone, often on a bad signal. Your site is built to load quickly and read well on a small screen — that's the baseline, not an upgrade.

  • Readable by everyone

Real text, proper contrast, and labels that screen readers understand. It's the right thing to do, and search engines reward it too.

  • Hosting handled

On the care plan, your site runs on a global network with a secure certificate, and it stays up. Nothing for you to configure, renew, or worry about.

  • Email us your changes

Plain language, no dashboard to log into: "the carnitas taco is $14 now." We make the change and send you a link to look at before it goes live.

  • Nothing breaks quietly

Every change is checked automatically before it can publish. A typo in a price or a missing photo stops the change rather than appearing on your site.

How it works

Your part: talk, look, email

Tell us about the business, look over a preview, then email us when something changes. That's the whole job on your side — and two of those three you already do all day.

  1. 1

    You talk, we listen

A conversation, not a form: what you do, who you serve, what makes people choose you, and how you want it to feel. We'll ask about colors and style too.

  2. 2

    We build, you review

You get a private link to the real site before anything is public. Tell us what to change; we change it. It goes live when you're happy with it.

  3. 3

You send changes, we make them

Hours, prices, a new photo, a seasonal note. Send it in plain language and you'll get a preview link back to check before it's published.

Pricing

Plain pricing, no surprises

One price to build it. Then either the care plan, where we host it and make your changes, or we hand the whole thing over to you. Your choice, and you can change your mind later.

Website build

Your site, designed and built around your business.

$2,000 one-time

  • A custom one-page site — no template that looks like everyone else's
  • Built mobile-first, fast on a phone and a bad signal
  • Readable by screen readers, with contrast that passes
  • Yours to keep: take the care plan, or we hand everything over in your name for a one-time $250
  • A contact form that reaches you
  • A private preview link to review before anything goes public
  • Help with your domain, which stays registered in your name

Care plan

You email us changes; we make them and send a link.

$150 /month — optional

  • Hosting, certificate, and uptime, handled
  • Up to 5 content changes a month, 1–3 business days each
  • A preview link for every change before it's published
  • Every change checked automatically before it can publish
  • Cancel whenever. We hand everything over in your name for a one-time $250

Content changes are things like hours, prices, text, and photos. Design changes take a little longer. The only work not priced on this page is connecting another system — booking, payments, inventory — which we price per job once we know what it talks to.

Questions

Fair questions

Do I need to know anything technical?
No. There's no dashboard, no login, and no software to learn. If you can send an email, you can update your site.
Can I see changes before they go live?
Always. Every change — including the original build — gets a private preview link first. Nothing is published until you've seen it.
What if I already have a domain?
We can use it, and it stays in your name. If you don't have one yet, we'll help you register one, in your name, not ours.
Do you only work with businesses in the Cape Fear area?
No — we're based in Wilmington and plenty of our neighbours are clients, but the work happens by email either way. Where you are doesn't change the site you get.
How long does a new site take?
Usually 1–2 weeks, start to finish. You'll see a preview link before it goes anywhere public.
What counts as a small change?
Content: your hours, prices, text, photos, a seasonal note. Those are 1–3 business days, up to five a month on the care plan. Design changes — new colors, a new section layout — take a little longer.
What if I need something more than a content change?
Design work takes a little longer than a content edit. Connecting another system — online booking, payments, inventory — is the one thing not priced on this page: we price it per job, because it depends entirely on what we're connecting to.
Do I have to take the care plan?
No. Without it, we hand the site over when it launches: your domain, your hosting account and your code, all in your name, for a one-time $250. The hosting account we set up for you is on a free plan. The care plan is for people who'd rather we host it and they just email us their changes.
What if I want to leave later?
Just say so, any time. We move everything into accounts you own (the domain, the hosting, the code and your contact form) for the same one-time $250, and then we remove our own access. There's no contract to wait out.
